This bohemian style cushion is produced on a back-strap loom by traditional artisans of Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala. Our weavers work with practices framed by Fair Trade certification.
This fabric was inspired by artist Maria Sosof, master artisan and friend, who shares local stories through her textiles. The motifs, usually applied on women’s scarves, are created with an Ikat dyeing technique. The yarns are dyed by hand before weaving.
